About the Event

This is a 90 minute seminar that will take an in depth look into the roots and history of Tai Chi and Qi Gong. By the end of this seminar you will know. Having a Tai Chi and Qi Gong practice is a wonderful way to relieve stress by quieting the mind, strengthening the body and harmonizing the breathe. You will learn a Qi Gong practice that will include both seated and standing meditation. You will learn the beginning movements of the Yang style Tai Chi form along with some of the applications for the movements and have an introduction to Tai Chi push hands. This Is a low impact practice that involves slow movements and breathe work. Wear comfortable clothing. We will take a brief tea break half-way through And welcome questions at the end.
