About the Event
We are honored and please to have both Steve Makowicki of Two Spores Farm in Norwich and Amanda Dye of the Fungi for Everyone Project in Worcester join us for a Mushroom Cultivation Workshop. You will learn the basics of mushroom log cultivation and the various inoculation techniques.
You will learn how to grow Shiitake, Lion's Mane, Reishi, Oyster Mushrooms and more. We will learn how to inoculate our own log to bring home and grow in our own backyard.
Bring your friends, and let's get growing these magical, beautiful fungi for medicinal purposes.
You will get dirty, so please dress appropriately and bring a towel to put your inoculated log on to transport it home in your vehicle. This is going to be a hands on experience.
